Squatter

A flak of gunpowder molotovs
cobwebbed the pit mired in the warren
scaffolds or plywood and mud cakes
tornadoed  families  faceless
benign crags and scoriae
festooned  in the fetid winds
watch the shadows lambent
as it thaws in the tumid cyst
Candles  snuffed out
their birthdays blown-out.
