Tinian

Seventy-degree summer breeze
Coconut crabs. Hermit crabs
shed their suits,
as they saunter in the sunshine.

Magnolias and white daffodils
sway to the silence.
I could hear the murmuring
maidens masturbating
in their mirthful innocence.

Sea horses. Wild urchins.
Dwarf Octopuses. Mahi- mahi
Rainbow and Parrot fishes.
Blue Marlin and Blue lakes
All is here for us to feast.

Let us begin
Spear fishing and swimming into the hole
the underbellies of the midnight fire
entwine in the moon’s embrace.

Always applaud the waves
Once it rushes to welcome you.
Tinian
It’s light and dark
brooding moments
keep it alive.

See the Japanese smiling
As they catch a boatful
of babies in the ocean.
Drinking saki ,  eating sashimi

“Oishi”, they say
with their lobster leavened buddies
beaten to the bone.
They sleep in here forever
and forget themselves
in the wellspring of  the unconscious.
